Early Spring Flowers

In my last post, I wrote that we couldn’t see flowers in Ishikari yet because Ishikari is located in Japan’s far north and the air was still cold.

Finally, "early" spring flowers are blooming!

Last week, I walked up a low hill, and though the air was still cold, I could see some colorful wild flowers -- yellow, blue and purple. I was so excited!

Soon, cherry blossoms will bloom…I can’t wait!
