Every July 15th and August 15th, annual festivals are held in Hamamasu. Here is the video which introduces these festivals. You can see people carrying a portable shrine, dancing, and also fishing boats, which are flying the “Tairyo-bata” (fishing boat flags), returning from the sea. If you watch this video, you may feel you want to come and experience the real thing!
